Father Tim Dyer, Vicar

Hello, I’m Father Tim Dyer

I am the Vicar (priest or clergy person) at Grace Episcopal Church. I was born and raised in Youngsville, PA. After I graduated from Youngsville High School, I served in the Marine Corps until I was discharged in 1989. I lived in California until I returned home in 1999. I began local formation for the priesthood in 2007 and was ordained to the diaconate in 2015. During which time, I graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I began attending seminary in 2015 at Church Divinity School of the Pacific, which is an Episcopal seminary located in Berkeley, California. I was ordained to the priesthood in 2016. I graduated from seminary in May 2019. From 2015 until June of 2020 I served as an assistant clergy person for three congregations in The Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania. In June of 2020 I was called to be the Vicar at Grace Episcopal Church.

My wife Noreen and I have made Ridgway our home and live here with our dog Sophie (she was sort of a rescue dog and has only three legs). We are excited to be part of the community of Grace Church and Ridgway. We have a blended family of three children and five grandchildren.

The Reverend Bonnie Skellen, Deacon

Hello, I’m Deacon Bonnie

I have served at Grace Church for 24 years. I especially enjoy the ministry of visiting our home bound and those in nursing homes or in the hospital as well as teaching Sunday School to our youth.

In the wider community I currently serve as President/Director of the Good Samaritan Food Bank and on the Emergency Food and Shelter Board.

If you are searching for a spiritual home, a church home, or just have questions and want to explore your faith, we invite you to come to Grace Church.
